Bourgeois Country Boy, 2002 flattop guitar , 9.8/10+, original black hard case. Sitka top, Honduras mahogany back and sides, mahogany neck, ebony fingerboard and bridge. Not mint condition, but certainly EXC+. Bone nut and compensated saddle, black plastic bridge pins. $1895 plus shipping.

Blueridge BR-160 Herringbone Dreadnought, new 2004 flattop guitar , 10/10, red line black hard case. Sitka top, East Indian rosewood back and sides, mahogany neck, ebony fingerboard and bridge. Mint condition. Bone nut and saddle, white plastic bridge pins with black dots. Professionally installed strap button. List price $950 plus shipping, this one is $695 plus shipping.

Gibson J. D. Crowe model banjo pot, with Price mahogany RB-75 neck, and prewar Gibson resonator reskinned with mahogany sides and back, RB-3 rings in back, finished to match the neck. Lacquer finish, full flying eagle inlays on aged Brazilian rosewood fingerboard, Five Star planet tuners with ivoroid buttons, Gibson marked Presto style tailpiece, 9+/10, Gibson hard case. $2750. Wonderful tone, plenty of power.

Martin D-18VM, 1997 Vintage Series flattop guitar , original black hard case. Excellent condition, a few minor playing dings. Sitka top, mahogany back and sides, mahogany neck, ebony fingerboard and bridge, abalone dots. $1695 plus shipping.

Price Knight banjo, 1983 , East Indian one piece neck and resonator veneer, gold sparkle purfling, lacquer finish, flat Brazilian fingerboard with gold and figured white MOP fleur-de-lis inlays, SL-5 tailpiece, virtually new, black hard case. I built this for a personal instrument right before I went back on active duty, and it doesn't have more than an hour's playing time. Last week I put my current Price Classic tone ring in it, and even the vintage Gibson guys at SPBGMA gave it high marks. It's deep and rich, powerful. $4750

Martin D-18V, 1996 Vintage Series flattop guitar , 9.8/10+, original black hard case. Not mint condition, but certainly EXC. It's a boomer. $1695

Price Deluxe mandolin, 1997 , Port Orford cedar top, Oregon flamed myrtle back, sides and neck, violin oil varnish finish, arched fingerboard with cloud inlays, two piece Tradition F-5 tailpiece, 9+/10, black hard case. Not mint condition, but certainly EXC, this has been my personal instrument for some time. It really gets the job done, plays like butter, wonderful balance across the strings and up and down the neck. $7500

The following two Vegas are unaccounted for, and I have no record nor recollection of having disposed of them but simply can't find them anywhere, nor remember what I might have done with them. I do have one TubaPhone with a marvelously carved heel, flowerpot inlay, mahogany neck bought unfinished from Wyatt Fawley. Subject to its actually being present and accounted for, price will be $2595 in a tweed TKL case.

Maestro Vasile Gliga of Romania 4/4 violin, 1998, all ebony fittings, fingerboard, tailpiece. New rectangular hard case with Cordura cover, holds four bows.. This is the finest piece of violin craftsmanship I've ever seen, ebony button collar, crisp clean edges and glorious wood. Setup with Thomastik Dominant perlon strings $1995 back view

Price Classic 75 banjo, NEW, McPeake tone ring, SL-5 tailpiece with Mark II engraving, Honduras mahogany neck and resonator with twin concentric rings, Brazilian rosewood fingerboard, Planet tuners, ivoroid buttons, geared fifth, spikes 7, 9, 10, ivory nut, TKL hard case. Replica of RB-75, but "Price" logo on peghead and "CLASSIC 75" on MOP block at 21st fret. Used as personal banjo for several shows. Back view PERSONAL USE

There are several Deluxe mandolins under construction, some of which are not committed, so now's the time to get your name on the list.

Watch for the Price Classic F-5, which should make its appearance on the site about the end of December. What year, I'm not sure. Yes, I take tradeins...U. S. made, quality instruments only (Kentucky KM-1500 mandolins or Gold Star banjos considered)
