Tradition Banjo, composite view

The Tradition Model is my newest design, from summer 2003, with a traditionally styled peghead that is richly inlaid and bears the G. H. Price name. It is offered in curly maple, mahogany or black walnut, and is equipped with the highest quality tuning machines and the fine SL-5 tailpiece, the Price Classic tone ring, nickel plated hardware, hand-shaded sunburst on the maple version, hand-rubbed lacquer finish, white binding, Gary Sosebee or Curtis McPeake bridge. The Brazilian rosewood fingerboard is inlaid in a distinctive tradition-based pattern. The resonator back features white/black/white concentric rings. A genuine handmade mother of pearl truss rod cover graces the ebony peghead overlay. The pictured banjo is a special edition archtop in gold plate, with a carbon fiber bar instead of the steel truss rod, made for a customer in Seattle.
